Median home prices in Garland County hover around $329,500, reflecting stability despite national market fluctuations.
Hot Springs continues to shine as a prime destination, thanks to its bustling tourism scene. Oaklawn’s horse racing season attracts thousands annually, while the city’s numerous parades, music festivals, art shows, car rallies, and outdoor recreation options—hiking, biking, and boating—keep the area vibrant. Celebrity concerts and fireworks displays over Lake Hamilton add to the city’s appeal, making it a sought-after location for both vacation homes and permanent residences.
Nationally, President Trump’s incoming administration promises pro-growth economic policies, which could fuel the housing market. Tax incentives for homeowners, potential interest rate stability, and infrastructure investments are expected to positively impact real estate. While there are discussions about tariffs on building materials, Garland County’s market remains resilient, driven by strong local demand and a steady influx of new residents.
For sellers, inventory remains tight, and competitively priced homes are selling within weeks. Buyers can still find excellent value, especially with mortgage rates remaining relatively low.
